Microsoft’s Long-Term Plan for Dynamics GP

In April of 2023, Microsoft announced that Dynamics GP will continue to be sold to new customers until April of 2026 along with advance notice that Dynamics GP enhancement plans will be increasing by 1% in October of 2023.

Despite what other vendors might be saying to cast uncertainty about Dynamics GP, you can rest assured that your investment in WennSoft Signature and Microsoft Dynamics GP will continue to be enhanced and supported to 2028 and beyond.

Existing Dynamics GP customers will continue to be supported under Microsoft’s Modern Lifecycle policy to 2028 and Beyond. The April 2023 announcement was specific to ending new Dynamics GP sales in 2025 and 2026, which isn’t correlated to anything other than ending new sales.

This means there are no end of life plans and customers aren’t being prematurely pushed to move to another ERP. Rather, existing Dynamics GP customers, can remain confident that Microsoft will continue to deliver updates in alignment with their Modern Lifecycle roadmap to 2028 and Beyond.
